'In the Hall of Mirrors' – I speglarnas sal – was a 1952 cantata by Blomdahl and Lindegren. Although it seems rather dated now, recalling a bleak high modernist response to post-WWII pressures, the phrase has always had a resonance for me – self-reflection, self-examination, identity politics, etc.
